2. THAT Ending Part 2 - A ma soeur! (2001)
Two sisters - Anaïs and Elena - are on holiday. Elena is beautiful and Anaïs is frumpy. They are both obsessed with losing their virginity and the comely Elena starts a relationship with a handsome law student named Fernando. Anaïs cries her eyes out while her sister gives up her virginity to Fernando after he pressurises her to have sex with him. The girl's mother eventually comes back and finds out about Elena's carnal antics with Fernando. Unimpressed, she drives the girls back to Paris. Stopping at a rest stop because she is tired, something very startling happens to the three female characters. An axeman comes out of nowhere and butchers the mother and Elena. He rapes Anaïs in the woods, relieving her of her virginity status misery - she insists nothing happened to her. A warped ending to the film then. It starts off with teenage concerns about virginity then descends into startling horror madness. The attack at the end is a shocking and brutal finale to the film.
