12 Talented Actors Who Just Made 3 Bad Movies In A Row

John Travolta's career very much works in cycles. He'll make something great and remind everyone that he genuinely is a very talented actor, but then he'll slum it with material that appears to be considerably beneath him. Then he'll pop up in something interesting again and the process starts afresh.

The Grease star's latest best work came on the small screen with his turn as Robert Shapiro in the first season of American Crime Story, which was excellent. Unfortunately, the same year that he starred in that show, 2016, saw him star in the first of three consecutive 0% movies on RottenTomatoes. That's not a record anyone wants.

The offending releases were Life On The Line, in which he played a lineman fixing downed power lines (as exciting as it sounds), the roundly sneered-at Gotti and then Speed Kills, which is essentially just a rip-off of American Made. A very bad one.
