2. Will Ferrell
It makes sense that Will Ferrell announced very recently that he's reviving Ron Burgundy for an Anchorman podcast, because he's not done a great deal since those movies that is anywhere near as good. He was great in The LEGO Movie, of course, but that feels like an age ago.
Since then things haven't been great. In his last three movies - all poor - he's revived a beloved character poorly in Zoolander 2, which was a misfire on all fronts, played his usual loveable doofus in The House and returned to paternal conflict in Daddy's Home 2.
He's still absolutely capable of raising laughs, but they're far less frequent and he seems to have lost some of his edge for writing great characters alongside the silliness. Hopefully, his take on Sherlock Holmes will be more in line with his older material.
