Olivia Munn has shown flashes of excellence in her career so far: she was great in Chuck and Greek and showed briefly in Magic Mike why she was considered a rising star when she came across to the big screen.
Sadly, she now seems to be trapped in an extended fallow period where no matter what she sows, it's just not really coming off right. Since Magic Mike, she's had one movie beat the 50% mark on Rotten Tomatoes (the LEGO Ninjago Movie) and that wasn't even very good.
Her last three have been Shane Black's misguided The Predator (which she is awful and awfully let down in), said Ninjago affair and laughless comedy Office Christmas Party. At least she's got another chance to play Psylocke in Dark Phoenix next. Hopefully, this time someone will remember to write her character a personality.
