4. The Final Battle - Wonder Woman

The DCEU is sadly no stranger to bad CGI, and to date all nine movies - ten, if you include Zack Snyder's Justice League - have misguidedly overdosed on wonky effects in the third act.

Though the majority of Wonder Woman actually looks pretty solid production-wise, the final showdown between Diana (Gal Gadot) and Ares (David Thewlis) says balls to all that and doubles down on blurry, goopy character models and weightless animation.

From the unintentionally hilarious visual of David Thewlis' face pasted behind an Ares design that looks like a mid-boss in a Dark Souls game, to the jerky fighting and generally muddy quality of the visuals, it feels like the sort of superhero movie showdown that went out of style over a decade ago. Or should have, anyway.
