12 Things You Learn Rewatching Licence To Kill

3. It Features The Franchise's Most WTF Death Scene

Licence To Kill Decompression

Without question, Licence to Kill features the Bond series' most alarming and disturbing death scene to date, with Bond framing Sanchez's lackey Milton Krest (Anthony Zerbe) as a thief.

This leads to Sanchez locking poor Krest inside a decompression chamber, resulting in his body quickly expanding and exploding from the pressure, splattering blood all over the port hole.

From the insidiousness of Bond's plan - ensuring Krest's death in order to get closer to Sanchez - to the borderline-comical absurdity of the death itself, it's a shocking sequence for a number of reasons. It's hard to know whether to laugh or just be utterly revolted by it.
