When the TV starts talking to you, as we've already seen, chances are it's telling you to lay off the weed for a while. And when the metal band Gwar interrupt their music video for 'Sadam- A- Go- Go' to invite you onstage with them, you'll lay off the weed for good. Mark (Ethan Embry), however, is halfway through a batch of hash brownies. So imagine his surprise to find that the band are calling him by name. Now imagine just how he'd react to simultaneously appearing on both sides of the screen. ''Mark, man, you play a mean guitar, man'', rasps frontman Oderus Urungus,''It's really a shame that you must DIE!'' And with that the poor lad is fed into the gaping maw of a giant crablike creature. Not quite sure whether to be honoured or horrified, Mark stares at the screen and lets out an awkward laugh. Watching yourself die at the hands of your favourite band might not be that much of a deterrent. But watching yourself die at the claws of a monster sharing the stage with your favourite band just might do the trick.
