11. Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs. Keith David - They Live
Knees to the groin flow plentifully in John Carpenter's entry into our list. Nada (pro-wrestling star Rowdy Roddy Piper) and Frank Armitage (the beloved Keith David) throwdown over whether Frank will put on a pair of special sunglasses. These shades will allow Frank to see through the Reagan era style yuppy disguises of gruesome space aliens. The aliens hide in plain sight trying to take over the world via crass consumerism. Originally slated to last 20 seconds, Rowdy and Keith opted to fight it out for real, pulling only the punches landed to the groin and face. Their merciless and brutal mutual pummeling impressed Carpenter so much he decided to include the entirety of the 5 minute and 20 second smackdown in the film.
