12 Upcoming Sci-Fi Movies That WILL Be Better Than Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

Okay, so right off the bat, you should know that The Tomorrow War is coming from director Chris McKay, who cut his teeth making Adult Swim’s cult comedy offering Robot Chicken and more recently was responsible for 2017’s hilarious Lego Batman Movie.

So we won’t be hearing any pre-emptive criticism of this one.

But there’s plenty more reason to get excited about this one, with a cast featuring Chris Pratt, Whiplash villain JK Simmons and Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski and a plot centring around scientists attempting to revive dead soldiers in order to draft them into a war with interstellar enemies. It’s a genius premise, and with such a promising director at the helm it’s hard not to get hyped for this one.
