4. Vision Picks Up Mjolnir - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
After Thor (Chris Hemsworth) helps bring The Vision (Paul Bettany) to life, the Avengers have a debate about whether he can be trusted, and even The Vision himself can't guarantee this, stating simply that he knows Ultron (James Spader) must be destroyed. Just as Vision says that he doesn't know how they can trust him, he casually picks up Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, to the shock of everyone in the room, immediately proving his worth and good intentions to the group as he walks off. The comic timing of the scene is just perfect: it cuts through the need for wasting anymore screen time on questioning Vision's motives, instantly makes him an awesome Avenger (considering that even Cap could only lift Mjolnir slightly) and propels the movie forward in a snappy, succinct way. It's the film's biggest "Holy s***" moment, and you probably still remember the rapturous audience response from this scene.
