Depending on your perspective, this is either one of the summer's greatest scenes or one of the worst. After Ray (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife Emma (Carla Gugino) tandem jump out of a plane (because...reasons), they manage to land in a baseball field, giving Ray the perfect impetus to field out the hysterical one-liner, "It's been a while since I got you to second base." Few actors could get away with a line so cheesy and dumb, but Johnson is definitely one of them. It's one of the film's few scenes that suggests the over-the-top disaster film is actually aware of its own ridiculousness, and provides a hearty laugh amid all that CGI-driven destruction porn.
