13 Horrible Movie Characters Who Never Got Their Comeuppance

5. Costa €“ Project X

Project X Costa InterviewWho Is He?: Part of a three-man-band of teenagers (along with main character Thomas and standard nerd sidekick JB) who is desperate to have sex and plans an epic party for Thomas' seventeenth birthday (codenamed Project X) to try and make that happen, which works but in the worst possible way. Why Is He So Horrible?: Jesus, where to start? He€™s your standard misogynist, chauvinist, homophobe taken up to extreme levels, but he€™s also a hugely corrupting influence on his friends. Thomas doesn€™t even want to host a party but Costa pretty much bullies him into it. It€™s also implied that Thomas€™ love interest Kirby (your generic girl next door type) was part of the main characters€™ group before Costa arrived on the scene and effectively forced her out. Not to mention, Project X is almost entirely his idea; he hires two psychotic teenagers armed with stun guns and nunchucks to act as security, advertises the party on the internet and the radio (which causes thousands of people to turn up and basically trash Thomas' house), and steals a lawn gnome from a psychotic drug dealer that turns out to be full of ecstasy. Basically everything that happens - the thousands of dollars worth of property damage, the widespread destruction, and said drug dealer going on a rampage with a flamethrower - is all because of him. What Happens To Him?: He gets punched in the balls by a dwarf after rescuing him from an oven (there€™s a sentence I never thought I€™d type), but beyond that, almost nothing. A brief caption reveals that, thanks to his family€™s expensive lawyers, he gets acquitted of all criminal charges (despite being the root of all the problems that night) and that the only consequence he is facing is that he may have impregnated three women, meaning that the loathsome little runt managed to have sex with at least three different women in one night. As a final kicker, in a TV interview about the whole fiasco, he says the he€™s planning to do it all again.
