When James Gunn is eventually done with the MCU - which won't be for at least a while since he's got another movie to make and a whole creative manifesto to explore more cosmic stories first - his legacy will be remembered for important things.

He'll be remembered for defying expectations, for making some of the funniest and most likable characters in comic book movie, for reinventing the way music was used in the franchise and for some of the most legitimate emotional depth in the MCU. And if his masterful ability to hide Easter Eggs continues to defy every Egg hunter in the world, for managing to keep one major Easter Egg in Guardians Of The Galaxy hidden entirely.

Famously, one big Easter Egg apparently still hasn't been discovered, making it one of the most valuable mysteries in MCU history.
