13 Last Minute Questions For Batman V Superman

#WhoWillWin?

It's almost time for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and it's set to be one of the most ambitious superhero movies ever made, right alongside the likes of The Dark Knight and The Avengers. Zack Snyder and co. are aiming to mount the film as the primer for the upcoming Justice League saga as well as the wider DC Extended Universe, and as such it encompasses a giant mass of characters and subplots. Though Warner's expansive and aggressive marketing campaign has revealed a lot (arguably too much depending on your opinion), it's safe to say that, sight unseen, there's still so much we can't be certain about as it pertains to the fight itself and everything taking place in the periphery. Dawn Of Justice has a mammoth list of tasks to pull off in order to succeed, and has raised a wealth of tantalising questions that must be answered, regardless of whether the movie actually ends up being a mess or Snyder's most meticulous to date. As we edge closer to getting our concrete answers, here are 13 last minute questions for arguably the year's most epic movie...

13. How Can Batman Fight Superman?

The Question: Considering that Batman's a human and Superman's, well, Superman, how on Earth is the Caped Crusader not hospitalised within a nanosecond of fighting the Man of Steel? On paper, it's an insane mismatch. The Likely Answer: A Kryptonite-fueled suit seems like the only really logical explanation here. We know that Kryptonite exists in the movie, and that Batman ends up with a Kryptonite spear that he fights Superman with, so the suit being powered by it or at least containing it just makes too much sense. Zack Snyder has been intentionally vague about explaining this, wanting to preserve the mystery for the cinema, though he did note that Batman is a master strategist in terms of combat, whereas Superman doesn't really need to be at all as he's so rarely outmatched.
