The Question: We know that Spider-Man joins the movie's climactic airport battle as part of Team Iron Man, but how exactly does he end up there?
The Likely Answer: It's pretty clear that Tony Stark has a sure hand in helping Peter Parker realise his full potential, and considering that Marisa Tomei was recently confirmed to appear in the movie as Aunt May, we can assume that Stark and Parker have some form of regular interaction before Spidey shows up in the battle.
