The Role: Little is known about Lawrence's part, but she plays a young woman who, along with her partner (presumed to be Javier Bardem), has to deal with some unexpected guests at their home.

Why You Should Be Excited: Jennifer Lawrence teaming up with Darren Aronofsky is plenty reason to be excited about this project, and with the director confirming a horror-thriller tone, it seems like this should be something very different from the majority of Lawrence's prior output.

With Aronofsky at the helm it's safe to expect a healthy dose of the surreal, and for all those who question Lawrence's range outside of tentpoles and away from David O. Russell, this is her best chance to prove the doubters wrong.
