Tag-line: “The Magnificent One!”

The Magnificent Seven is a timeless classic, and denying it would be a fool's errand.

Its tag-line of “The Magnificent One!”, however, is much, much less than timeless, and does precious little justice to the movie. For anyone who hasn't seen it, it tells the story of seven gunfighters hired to defend a town from bandits. Much as the name implies, each of the seven gunfighters are magnificent.

Therein lies the issue with the tag-line.

What about the other six? Come on, make your mind up, is there one or seven? It's enough to make anyone's brain hurt.

Not one of the biggest lies on this list, but still, the fact that it contradicts itself in the movie's own name is a slap in the face.
