13 Outrageously Awful 2015 Performances That Deserve Razzies

6. Emilia Clarke - Terminator Genisys

The Role: Sarah Connor, one of the most iconic screen heroines in cinema history, who once again must ensure humanity's survival from a fleet of killer robots. Why It's So Awful: Emilia Clarke is a perfectly fine actor as she's proven in Game Of Thrones above all else, but this is proof perfect of how bad casting can categorically derail a performance. Clarke is far too cute and cherub-like to convincingly play a battle-hardened soldier like Connor, all the more so when she's previously been played so well by Linda Hamilton and Thrones co-star Lena Headey. Clarke's dialogue delivery in an American accent also isn't great: she over-enunciates more than any American does in real life, and on the whole it seems like she was cast simply to take advantage of Game Of Thrones' popularity. It's all the more frustrating considering that the far better choice of Brie Larson was also considered for the part.
