All 13 Pixar Theatrical Shorts: Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Boundin' (2003)

Boundin This is an uplifting tale, albeit one about a naked sheep, with a lovely fuzzy message about inner beauty and learning to be yourself. I definitely feel that this short only gives us emotion and humour in small doses, and therefore doesn't pack the usual punch in 6 minutes that we all love Pixar for. It is the first short that also incorporates narration but goes to show that sometimes a picture can tell 1000 words, as the use of narration doesn't really add anything to the overall effect. In fact, it would probably have been better and more effective without. Plenty of credit to Bud Luckey for his work-rate though; he narrates, co-directs, composes the music and voices all the characters. It's just a shame the story wasn't stronger.

I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
