10. La Luna (2011)
Pixar have once again deviated from what we usually expect in this 6 minute short directed by Enriqo Casarosa. Although charming, the characters fail to capture the audience and the plot just feels as though it's lacking in depth for an animation that tells the tale of coming of age and focuses on family dynamics. While the short can claim to have one of the more imaginative plot details in the Pixar universe - the family business brushing shooting stars off the moon is a delight - a little more characterisation and a fleshing out of the narrative would have gone a long way here.
