The Actor: One of Scandinavia's finest exports of the last decade, Mikkelsen came to the attention of international audiences as Le Chiffre, the villain of Daniel Craig's first James Bond film, Casino Royale. Suitably menacing and creepy, it made him a perfect fit for NBC's Hannibal, which has gained critical acclaim and a cult following over 3 seasons, although not enough to stop the network from cancelling it. Role In Star Wars: Yep, you guessed it, Mikkelsen will be appearing next year in Rogue One. His character's unknown, but you can bet it'll be someone capable of quickly flipping between charming and dangerous. Role In Marvel: Not content with Star Wars, Mikkelsen will also be entering the MCU next year. Again his role is unknown, but he will be sharing the screen with Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange, and that prospect alone is exciting enough.
