6. Aurora Or Jim's Corpse Is Discovered By The Waking Crew - Passengers

Passengers Chris Pratt Jennifer Lawrence

Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) decides to see out her days with Jim (Chris Pratt), and the film ends with the crew of the Avalon waking up 88 years later.

The clear implication is that the two lovers have since died, and of course, this most likely means that one had to in fact bury the other, as it's incredibly hard to believe they both died at the same time (unless they voluntarily both blew themselves out the airlock or something).

More likely is that one buried the other and the survivor died some time later, but of course, a dead person can't buy themselves, so there's probably an old corpse that's been sitting around the ship for a few decades.

Maybe android bartender Arthur (Michael Sheen) could've helped with the clean-up (as those Roomba-like robots probably can't do much with decaying flesh and bones), but more likely, the Avalon's crew and passengers found a grim sight upon awakening.
