10. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation Was A Better Bond Film Than Spectre
The 24th Bond film, Spectre, opened to mixed-positive reviews, with many citing the movie's falling back on much of the corny formula fans had grown tired of, as well as its confused romance, template-driven story and terrible villain motivation. It also didn't take long for film fans to draw comparisons between the film and one of the summer's big hits, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, the majority of which is listed in this glorious Reddit post. Rogue Nation received near-unanimous acclaim and is widely accepted to be superior to Spectre, so given how similar the two are, it seems pretty damn clear that Rogue Nation is in effect a more enjoyable Bond film than an actual, official Bond flick. The gorgeous women, cool gadgets, insane stunts and bada** protagonist are all there, but much, much more enjoyable. On one hand, good on the M:I team for keeping the franchise feeling fresh off the back of Ghost Protocol, but given how brilliant Casino Royale and Skyfall were, Spectre's decline into old irony just feels a bit sad.
