13. Seth Rogen - Steve Jobs
The Actor: Seth Rogen's prolific comedic career speaks for itself, with his biggest hits including Knocked Up, Superbad, Neighbors and This is the End. The Role: In Danny Boyle's upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, Rogen plays Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Inc, who plays a pivotal part in Jobs' story. Why They Might Win: Because the Academy loves transformative roles, and just as they've rewarded Jonah Hill and James Franco in the past with Oscar nominations, they'll delight in giving Rogen the rub if he's even half-way good, which he almost certainly will be. Early spy shots from the set make it clear that Rogen has been perfectly cast opposite Michael Fassbender, so his Oscar fate really rests in the hands of Aaron Sorkin's script, and when has he ever let viewers down?
