13 Upcoming Movie Plot Twists Everybody's Already Guessed

1. The Surviving Avengers Revisit The Past - Avengers 4

No currently in-production movie has been as intensely speculated about as Avengers 4, and though we don't know the specific context of what's going to happen, set leaks have made it clear that many of the surviving Avengers will be heading back in time in order to defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin).

We've seen leaked images of Iron Man (Robert Downey) and old-school Cap (Chris Evans) hanging out with Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) during the Battle of New York, making it abundantly clear that the team will be revisiting classic MCU moments, either to recruit a new team or, as rumoured, to acquire a new set of Infinity Stones.

While it may turn out that these scenes actually take place in a parallel dimension rather than the conventional, linear past, it's clear either way that the key to defeating Thanos is re-visiting prior events and doing things differently.

Even with that huge twist out in the open so far ahead of the movie's release, though, there's still so much we don't know about the film, which is really damn exciting.
