4. Will Arnett (Show Dogs)

There might not be a more blatant paycheck performance this year than Will Arnett's turn as human cop Frank in this atrocious talking dogs crime comedy.

You can practically see Arnett's embarrassment showing here as he shares the screen with a fleet of talking animals, and while he could've acquitted himself by simply going wildly over-the-top and leaning into the insanity, he actually plays it oddly low-key and dull.

Arnett's not an easy actor to dislike, but it was genuinely tough to watch him acting out fart jokes with a digital canine pasted into the scene after the fact.

With Show Dogs' mere $5.5 million budget, we can only hope that Arnett had a back-end deal to get a hefty cut of its $39.2 million box office take. Otherwise, the loss of dignity absolutely wasn't worth whatever they paid him upfront.
