59. Wrong Bullets
This one is a bit technical but still a mistake. In the same scene, Neo pulls out a pair of Skorpion SA Vz 61 machine guns, however the shell casings that are shown falling to the floor are 5.56x45mm shells which would be too large for the guns. Still looks cool though.
58. Audio Blunder 2
In the same scene, Neo is about to do a Matrix Cartwheel and two soldiers are desperately trying to shoot him. We get a close up of one who is holing a pump action shotgun but the sound it makes is very similar to the rat-tat-tat sound a M16 machine gun makes.
57. Pick Up The Gun!
You have to look carefully to spot this. Neo does his cartwheel to pick up the gun on the floor. During the cartwheel, you can see his hand skim over the gun and he makes no effort to pick it up. However on the close-up, hes got a nice firm grip on the handle.
56. What Are You Shooting At 2
Neo's gun handling skills are truly spectacular. Only John Matrix in Commando comes close. Neo is so good, he doesn't even have to point his gun at the target, the bullets know where they need to go! As demonstrated in the scene in the lobby, Neo does a one handed cartwheel and kills a bunch of soldiers while pointing his gun at the floor, to his right. Amazing!
55. Lift Breaks?
All lifts are designed with brakes in each corner. So if the worst was to happen and a lift fell, the brakes will kick in and stop if from hitting the ground. But when Neo shoots the cable and the lift falls, the brakes spark but don't stop the lift.
54. Quick Fix
After Neo and Trinity have finished redecorating the lobby, you can clearly see the pillars are busted up and bodies laying all around the elevator door. But when Neo and Trinity send a bomb in the falling lift, the resulting fireball exits in a spotless lobby with no bullet holes, dead bodies or broken pillars.
