14 Actors Who Desperately Need A Hit Movie
11. Armie Hammer
Armie Hammer is one of the most unlucky actors working today: he's charming, he's handsome, and he's a good actor, yet despite being well-cast in a number of promising roles, audiences just don't seem to turn out for most of his movies.
With high-profile busts like the infamous The Lone Ranger and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Hammer's last starring movie to do major box office business was 2012's Mirror Mirror, and ever since he's largely been relegated to supporting status in movies that quickly came and went.
There's definitely room for a turnaround, though: his new film Call Me by Your Name earned him rave reviews out of Sundance and will court Oscar hype at the end of the year, while rumours persist that he's in serious contention to play DC's Shazam, which would of course be a hugely lucrative part.
Plus, the guy's only 30 years old, so he's still got plenty of time to right the ship.
