13. Darth Vader Interrogates Leia With A Giant Needle (A New Hope)
The Scene: On-board the Death Star, Princess Leia is interrogated by Darth Vader regarding the whereabouts of the rebel base, employing the use of an IT-O Interrogator droid, which is seen carrying a massive mind probe needle. Why It's Creepy: This one is all in the suggestion: the needle is never seen actually being used on Leia, but the extremely ominous shots of the needle close-up and the door closing as Vader advances towards Leia suggest that nothing good came of what he did to her. She doesn't seem too roughed up physically the next time we see her, but mentally? Probably totally fried. As if a huge dude in a terrifying black costume wasn't creepy enough, he has to add needles to the mix.
