The Role: Scott Lang, the petty thief who ends up being recruited by Hank Pym to become the pint-sized superhero known as Ant-Man. What Happened: In October 2013, Marvel had narrowed their picks down to Levitt and Rudd, though it wasn't long after that that Levitt went on the record and dismissed it as mere rumour. It's likely that Levitt and Marvel couldn't quite see eye to eye on something and so he distanced himself from the part, allowing Rudd to become the front-runner and eventually nab the role. Who Should've Got The Part: Rudd. Levitt would've been a fine pick, but given how ridiculous the character is, the part needs a fiercely successful comedic actor to offset the weirdness, and Rudd is nothing if not that.
