9. Charlie Hunnam - Christian Grey (Fifty Shades Of Grey)
The Role: Young, handsome, charming businessman Christian Grey, who beneath his suave exterior harbours a secret interest in BDSM as informs his relationship with young, naive virgin Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). What Happened: Hunnam actually won the part outright and his casting was even announced in September 2013, but a month later, Hunnam exited the project reportedly because of a scheduling conflict with filming the final season of his FX show Sons Of Anarchy. However, it's widely believed that Hunnam either buckled to the pressure of the fanbase or realised that starring in an erotic movie might not be the best career move for a talented actor such as himself... Who Should've Got The Part: Dornan, or anyone else, really. He doesn't have much of a career yet, so this will set him up for life, whereas Hunnam absolutely doesn't need to debase himself with a blemish like this on his filmography. He unquestionably dodged a bullet here.
