15 Actors Who Would Be Great In Star Wars: Episode 7

hugh jackman bond With JJ Abrams' upcoming trilogy of Star Wars sequels (as well as rumored spinoffs starring Boba Fett, and Han Solo) and with a host of other films being considered, there are tons of roles in the Star Wars universe that are going to have to be filled. The actors on the list were chosen for their acting abilities above all else, particularly their ability to play a variety of roles. Also, some experience in previous sci-fi or fantasy works helped identify whether or not they would fit in well in the Star Wars universe. Generally, actors who weren't heavily associated with previous franchises were preferred, but several people made the list regardless. Any of these actors would be a welcome addition to any movie, with Star Wars being no exception...

15. Sean Bean

Already a veteran of a massive production in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Sean Bean is one of the most versatile character actors working today as he has played in some of the world's biggest franchises, such as James Bond and Lord of the Rings. Bean is well versed in the fantasy genre as he's played in Troy, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. Bean is equally adept at playing villains or heroes and is well known for his ability to snap in and out of character on set. Bean would be a great addition to the Star Wars universe who I think would work best as a sort of wandering, loner type Jedi Master. Out of Bean's past roles, Ned Stark from Game of Thrones and Boromir from Lord of the Rings are examples of what Bean can do with an interesting role and a good script.

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
