Pitch: New York Mourning Club Cast & Crew: Jean-Marc Vallee (Dir), Jake Gyllenhaal, Naomi Watts & Chris Cooper Plot: Jake Gyllenhaal plays an investment banker whose life is thrown into turmoil following the death of his wife but through a chance encounter with Noami Watts' character he starts to pick up the pieces in this dark comedy from the director of The Dallas Buyers Club. Reasons to Be Excited: Jean-Marc Vallee's excellent run, following Dallas Buyers Club and Wild, looks set to continue with this tale. We can expect a lot of human drama and intensity but also laughs as we follow Gyllenhaal's attempt to demolish his life following the loss of his wife with an all star cast at the top of their game.
