9. Hannibal King
As annoying as Hannibal King was as a character, there's no doubt that he made a kick-ass vampire hunter. Having previously been turned in to a vampire himself, he was freed and cured of vampirism by the Nightstalkers - a team of elite vampire hunters - whom he then joined with a major vendetta against vampire-kind and, in particular, the House of Talos (the group of which his former vampire lover, Danica, was a part). King is a decent hand-to-hand fighter (though lacking in much technique, being more of a brawler/street fighter type) as well as being good with firearms. Despite the fact that he is merely a human, he's able to match enormous vampires like Jarko Grimwood in combat situations. He's very crude with his humour - something which he uses a lot (or at least tries) - and even persists with his constantly humorous attitude in potentially life-threatening situations. He fought alongside Blade in his battle against Drake and his minions and, although he really wasn't Blade's type of guy, he certainly gained the Daywalker's respect.
