15 Awesome Scenes From Trailers That Were Stupidly Cut From The Film

9. The Master

Fans of Paul Thomas Anderson can put up with their long time between feeding thanks to the sheer quality of what they can eventually gorge on. The Master was a dish that bore some similarities to the lavish There Will Be Blood, but felt ultimately distinct, not least with the startling difference in the character€'s outbursts. While Blood€'s Daniel Plainview remained physically calm until its dairy-inspired final scene, each of The Master€'s three leads were more insular, with a fear of explosion more potent than any time they actually loose their cool (just check out Amy Adam€'s chilling, but calm, final scene).

The trailer suggested otherwise; the dialogue heavy teasers were an artwork in their own right, even if they frustratingly contained action scenes that didn't make it into the final cut. There€'s a lengthy tracking shot of an assumedly pre-cause Freddy chasing a truck, but most intriguing is a brief moment of him tearful, wildly aiming a gun. Did the film originally have more than just Freddy€'s violence with the police? Probably for the reason discussed above it was cut, but boy what an enticing moment
