15 Awesome Scenes From Trailers That Were Stupidly Cut From The Film
6. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Many of those who combed their copy of Robert Zemeckis' animation-live action mash-up were looking for that fabled moment when Jessica Rabbit's skirt flew up to reveal a lack of underpants (the actual truth of this is still up in the air, given the different releases of the film). Trailer hounds, however, will have been looking hard for evidence of the trailer's more enticing shots; Valiant as a pig.
The whole trailer is incredibly light, treating Roger and Eddie as life long chums, which is almost as jarring as the subplot it alludes to. Eddie with a toon pig head is the only remaining part of a long excursion the original screenplay took; Valiant sneaks into Jessica's dressing room, only to be kidnapped by Judge Doom and "tortured". The section adds extra emphasis on the social differences between humans and toons, but is an unnecessary, stand alone episode in the plot. It does, however, explain why Valiant casually went for a shower while Roger is close to being tracked down.
