15 Best Performances In The DCEU (So Far)

In spite of the mixed reaction to Justice League, the casting was certainly right on-point and Jason Momoa was another great example of this. He was an absolutely excellent Aquaman who was not only an extremely cool presence, but did the character beats very well too.

Momoa's performance is a surprisingly affecting and understated one that excellently sold Aquaman's well-written arc in his solo movie. Another crucial thing is that Momoa was able to be charismatic and humorous without ever seeming smug or arrogant, which is a trap plenty of action heroes have fallen into before.

Thanks to both the strong writing and this excellent performance, Aquaman is an awesome and truly compelling onscreen superhero.
