7. Mayhem At The Manor

McClaine's panoramic, detailed portrayal of a battle at the Bat-mansion with a crapton of Batman's criminals who seem to have learned his secret identity is full of funny, cute illustrations and a bouncy, fun sense of action. As narrative art, it actually has more in common with the Bayeux Tapestry or old hieroglyphics than comics, but the important thing is that it's endless fun to explore. Sadly, McClaine is no longer selling prints of his work (the print run was very limited, possibly to avoid legal trouble with DC) but you can get a view of the whole thing here, along with a few pointers about what details to admire.
