Sam: €œNo, what kind of bird are you?€ Suzie: €œI€™m a raven.€ With that simple exchange, one of the year€™s best love stories began, much to the delight of audiences everywhere. In Moonrise Kingdom, young stars Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward, neither with any acting experience previously, completely stole the show from Wes Anderson€™s customary menagerie of quirky actors and characters. Whether with hilarious deadpan delivery or heartfelt emotions, the two actors brought the two young characters to life and helped everyone in the audience harken back to their own childhood and first love, if only for a brief time. It is always hard to judge whether child actors are going to make it in the business or fade into relative obscurity, but given what they showed in MK, it would not surprise anyone if these two graced the silver screen for years to come. What€™s Next: No roles lined up yet for Gilman, though some of sure to come if he wants them, but Hayward already has one in production €“ The Sisterhood of Night w/ Kal Penn.
