15. "This Is My House... I Have To Defend It!" (Home Alone, 1990)
This classic is perhaps the most insanely violent PG-rated Christmas movie, and we love it for that reason exactly. Williams' score has plenty of elements that could be regarded as a precedent to his take on Harry Potter - he accomplishes a soundtrack that is both dynamic and mischievous, and yet at the same time retains that familiar Christmas warmth. A single scene captures this dichotomy, and it is the one which sees young Kevin returning from church in order to prepare his elaborate booby traps. Williams pulls off a great Carol of the Bells remix, boosting it up with drums and all. That's quintessential '90s musical fare, right there.
