2. Driven (2018)

No, not a remake of the terrible 2001 Sylvester Stallone drama or a sequel to 2011's Drive, the upcoming Driven is set to chronicle the FBI sting operation set up to trap car designer John DeLorean. The real-life story saw DeLorean become embroiled in a drug deal as a way to quickly acquire cash, a get-rich-quick scheme which immediately got out of hand in the 1980s.

The setting itself is going to play a huge part in the project, acting as the perfect backdrop for a disco-fuelled dive into the world of drugs, violence and crooked cops.
