5. Dr. Doom's Terrible New Design - The Fantastic Four
The Moment: When Dr. Doom (Toby Kebbell) is brought back from Planet Zero in critical condition and breaks out of the lab, killing anyone in the vicinity. Why It's Controversial: Because the new Doom design looks absolutely terrible. It's been described as a cross between a crash test dummy and that lady from the System Shock 2 box art, and simply it just looks very boring and uninspired compared to the more source-faithful 2005 attempt. Perhaps fans wouldn't have been so harsh had Doom actually got more than about 10 minutes of screen time and not been disposed of so flippantly. Instead, as with almost everything else in the movie, it was near-universally loathed, and proved that Fox again just can't seem to get it right.
