Won't somebody please think of the children? Matt Stone and Trey Parker have never been afraid of courting a little controversy. If anything, their ability to ruffle the feathers of moralists has only strengthened their brand. Whenever somebody takes them to ask for something controversial they have done in their work, they usually responded by taking aim at that person. They usually did so via hit Comedy Central TV show South Park. Everyone from Bill Clinton to Barbara Streisand were sent up on the show, so when Stone and Parker announced a South Park movie, many a celebrity must have went into panic mode. They needn't have worried because, although stars such as Winona Ryder and the Baldwin brothers took hits, the creators were more concerned with shoehorning in as many F-bombs as posisble. Oh, and depicting Saddam Hussein as the gay lover of Satan. Yup, that'll do it. The film was also charged with racism, blasphemy and a lot of other things. Most parents who were speaking out against the film were angered by the amount of swearing, which would be fine if it was a kids film, but Bigger, Longer and Uncut was an R-Rated movie and no kids should have been watching it in the first place.
