7. The South Korea Chase - Black Panther

Black Panther's centre-piece action sequence isn't its PS2-calibre final battle between T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), but the riveting South Korea chase in which Black Panther hunts down arms dealer Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis).

T'Challa and co. head to the casino where Klaue is attempting to offload some vibranium, and soon enough, a frenetic battle kicks off. Ryan Coogler makes impressive use of some long takes to showcase all the parallel action taking place throughout the casino.

Before long the fight spills out into the streets and a car chase ensues, where Shuri (Letitia Wright) remotely drives T'Challa's car, allowing him to leap from vehicle to vehicle, ripping off roofs and hurling bad guys out of their cars.

At the same time, Okoye hurls her spear through a car windshield, bringing it to a firm stop, and when her own car is exploded by Klaue's sonic cannon, she uses her spear to ride a car door to safety.

And because that's not awesome enough, Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) then catches up to her, sliding down the hill in the hollowed-out remnants of their car's cockpit.

Klaue is finally taken into custody once T'Challa rips one of the tires from his car, bringing this creative and brilliantly paced chase sequence to a dead stop. A few CGI gripes aside, this was absolutely killer.
