Number of F-bombs: 313 (2.95 fpm)
Anyone with a couple of Ken ‘King of Kitchen Sink Drama’ Loach’s films under their belt can testify that they aren’t exactly the jolliest movies you’ll ever see. They do, however, have their roots firmly planted in social realism and when the vast majority of your films are set in Britain this apparently means reflecting us Brits’ propensity for profanity wholeheartedly.
Set in Glasgow, which quite possibly ups the swear count considerably, Sweet Sixteen isn’t the 80s teen flick it sounds at first but a gritty drama about a young teenage boy trying to better both his own life and that of his jailed mother who falls into a life of petty crime and drug dealing.
Choice F*ck Quote: “Kiss your f*cking mother, you little c*nt!” (How not to get someone to kiss their mother, with a little C-bomb thrown in for good measure)
