12. Cardi B’s "Fenty" Lingerie - Hustlers

Hustlers is easily one of the most surprising movies of the year. It starred - among others - Jennifer Lopez (whose record is often... inconsistent... in movies), pop star Lizzo and Cardi B. It was also effectively marketed as a heist movie starring strippers. But it was SO much more than that and it's one of the true gems of the year.

The biggest revelation is Cardi B herself, who channelled her background as a stripper to play Diamond, a brash, swaggering dancer who isn't one of the criminal crew but who leaves an instant mark. Part of that comes down to one particularly stunning outfit, which should get Hustlers a costume Oscar nod and which combined a corset, outrageous shoes and enough diamonds - including pasties - to pay off everyone's student loans.
