5. Juno

Juno offers one of those click-baity reference points you tend to see prefaced by "You'll Never Guess Who This Unrecognisable Child Star Actually Is! in the fact that the baby at its heart would now be 10-years-old and heading into high-school in a matter of a year.

While the film - a triumph of Diablo Cody's writing and Ellen Page's performance - felt deeply rooted in its time, it is such a quirky thing (almost with its own vocabulary in the same way that Clueless did) that it defies ageing now.

And then there's the fact that Page played a character who could reasonably be considered a slightly older version of Juno (or a more dysfunctional sibling) in Tallulah in 2016, and the fact that her definitive role came almost 10 years before it is just baffling.
