9. Mike's New Car - Monsters University

Though they've never been given the full Pixar Short treatment given to Toy Story and Cars characters, the Monsters Inc crew did have their own short spin-off thanks to DVD extra Mike's New Car, which appears on the Monsters Inc home release initially.

The sequence was initially intended to be part of the main film, but was shunted out to keep it shorter. In it, we see Mike "enjoying" his new six wheel car, which he is obsessed with right up until the point it almost kills him and he wishes he had his old car.

it turns out he didn't just buy it as a statement of his success at work: it was the realisation of a dream he'd had since he was at uni, when he slept in Squishy's basement, where the exact same car was featured on a poster. So that's where his obsession came from.
