15 Outrageous Deadpool Jokes That Really Push The Boundaries

6. Killing Hitler

Killing Hitler is one of the biggest €˜what ifs€™ in fiction where time travel or alternate histories are possible. Just see Misfits, Doctor Who and Inglourious Basterds for proof. When Deadpool tackled this oft-reappearing time travel plot point in 2012, do you think he took it at all seriously? Of course not €“ instead, he used it as an opportunity to get ultraviolent and perform a callback to the €˜who commits suicide with a bow and arrow?€™ gag from years prior. While Hitler€™s guards weren€™t looking, he shot the Fuhrer repeatedly and cried €œach, I can€™t take it anymore! I€™m the saddest dictator now. I€™m Hitler€ Hitler killing himself€ Myself.€ When the guards burst in, they clearly weren€™t as gullible as Deadpool would be in the same situation. So now Deadpool€™s mocking historical dictators and the seriousness of suicide at the same time. It€™d be hard to push the boundaries of comedy much further than that, wouldn€™t it? That won't stop him trying, though...
