15. Ditch Most Of The Product Placement

One of the most common complaints about Jurassic World is its howlingly ridiculous product placement, namely the sexily-shot Mercedes car Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) spends a solid portion of the film driving around in, and the insanely blatant shot of Chris Pratt drinking a glass Coca Cola bottle. The infamous paid placements in the film sparked a debate about where the line can and should be drawn: is it somewhat more acceptable in a movie like Jurassic World, given the theme park setting, or is it just as crass regardless? Most would agree it's far from preferable either way, and given that the film is on track to become the highest-grossing film of 2015 if its box office momentum continues, it seems sad that it nevertheless needed to be packed with so many advertisements. Perhaps now that Universal realises the cash-cow they have on their hands, they might ease up with the absurdly obvious placements for the next movie.
